IT Project Manager

Salary: £47,389 - 56,535 per year

Requirements:

• Significant project management experience within a large and complex organisation
• A proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent IT and business change projects through the full project lifecycle
• Experience using recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM or P3O
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
• Experience managing project budgets, risks, resources and governance processes
• Business analysis and requirements gathering experience
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technologies
• Experience delivering business change, digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Desirable: PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or similar qualification
• Desirable: ITIL certification
• Desirable: PMO development and governance experience
• Desirable: Lean process improvement knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse portfolio of projects from initiation through to completion
• Deliver technology implementations, business change programmes, service improvements and infrastructure-related projects
• Manage project plans, budgets, risks, issues and governance
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to budget
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, project boards and suppliers
• Drive engagement and facilitate business requirements gathering
• Provide regular reporting on project progress and outcomes
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the PMO
• Help enhance project management standards, governance frameworks, reporting processes and supporting tools across the organisation
