IT Support Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Experience with server administration and infrastructure support
• Experience with VMware / vSphere / ESXi
• Experience with multi-site or remote user support
• Experience working with international IT teams
• Veeam Backup & Replication is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain our IT environment across Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Provide support for server, storage, backup and monitoring infrastructure
• Carry out server patching, security hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Support virtualisation technologies, including VMware / vSphere
• Provide desktop and laptop support
• Manage endpoint devices and support device management
• Support backup and disaster recovery processes
• Produce technical documentation and manage assets
• Deliver BAU support and resolve tickets within agreed service levels
