2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support role, ideally working up to 2nd Line level
• Strong networking skills, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and switches
• Knowledge of backup technologies
• Good MS365 knowledge is advantageous
• Experience with Active Directory
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
• Confident working with users of all levels and providing a high level of customer service
• Must be able to drive and have access to a personal vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level technical support to a broad range of clients, both remotely and on-site
• Handle day-to-day support tasks and project work
• Act as the first point of contact for clients
• Support and escalate issues for junior engineers when needed
• Work towards individual and team KPIs
• Ensure a consistently high level of service is maintained for clients by the Help Desk team
