Java Developer - Java - AWS - Angular

Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong front-end and back-end development skills
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments
• Strong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch
• Experience with AngularJS
• Experience with Jenkins, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, GitHub, CI/CD, DevOps, and Kotlin
• Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps concepts is advantageous
• Experience with Docker and containerisation is advantageous
• AWS Associate Developer accreditation is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and secure Java software solutions
• Work across front-end and back-end development
• Build solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot
• Work with AWS cloud services as part of the technical delivery
• Contribute to a global IT transformation business delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects

This is a permanent Java Developer role based in Leeds with hybrid working, offering 2 days per week remote and 3 days per week onsite.
