Software Engineer (AWS, Python, C#/C++)

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Must have a Computing/STEM Degree (2:1 or higher)
• 2-8 years proficiency in a commercial Software Engineering role/team using C#, C++ or Python
• Experience with AWS / Distributed Computing and Cloud Architecture
• Knowledge of software design patterns and modern engineering principles
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Linux platforms
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a Mechanical Engineering environment is preferred
• Exposure to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop core modules within the Engineering design platform
• Integrate modules into a cloud compute environment
• Work within an Agile team to tackle complex engineering challenges
• Wrap commercial simulation tools and integrate them into automated workflows
• Streamline complex engineering processes through high-quality automation
• Innovate and solve first-of-their-kind challenges
