IT Architect

Salary: £50,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT architecture and design
• Strong expertise in systems architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of APIs and databases
• Proficient with architectural modelling and diagramming software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, ArchiMate, Lucidchart)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end IT architecture solutions and system blueprints across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align IT strategy with business objectives
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and frameworks (e.g., build vs. buy decisions)
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams
• Conduct risk assessments, ensuring systems meet security and regulatory requirements
