Quality Engineer

Salary: £72,800 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / EN9100 standards
• Quality and operational assurance processes
• Cross-functional integration and product safety
• Export compliance (e.g. ITAR) – if applicable
• Strong interpretation of specifications and contract requirements
• Effective root cause analysis (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone, Six Sigma)
• Proficient stakeholder and customer management skills
• Accurate report writing and data analysis

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with local Quality Management System requirements.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage non-conformances and support process improvement initiatives.
• Review and improve quality documentation (procedures, standards, risk assessments).
• Provide guidance to junior quality professionals.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Analyse data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records using company systems.
