Technical Support Advisor

Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year

Requirements:

• GCSE or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of customer service experience preferred
• 2 years of technical support experience preferred
• Ability to reliably commute to Bedford MK43 9ND or plan to relocate before starting
• In-person work location

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote technical support via phone and email to customers, installers, and commercial partners
• Diagnose electrical, connectivity, commissioning, and configuration issues
• Log, track, and manage cases through CRM systems, ensuring accurate documentation
• Escalate complex faults to engineering where required, with structured technical summaries
• Support commissioning of EV chargepoints, including load management, CT clamp configuration, and network setup
• Interpret installation photos, site surveys, and electrical schematics
• Assist with firmware updates and software-related troubleshooting
• Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify recurring product issues
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide feedback into product development to improve reliability and user experience
• Communicate technical information in a clear, professional manner appropriate to the audience
• Maintain ownership of cases through to resolution
• Protect brand standards through calm, structured problem handling
