Technical Business Analyst - FIX, APIs

Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need at least 3 years of experience translating client requirements into clear, usable, implementable solutions.
• We need experience in the financial services, financial software, trading, or commodities sector.
• We need an understanding of exchanges, OTC, commodities, or trading.
• We need technical knowledge including some programming skills, APIs, RESTful services, and FIX.
• We need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• We need the ability to showcase user flows and user journeys.
• We need candidates to be UK-based with 5+ years of UK work experience due to financial checks.
• We are unable to offer visa support or visa transfer, so this role is for permanent UK-based candidates only.

Responsibilities:

• We gather requirements and conduct business analysis.
• We produce functional specifications for web applications and databases.
• We work with APIs, OTC, FIX, RESTful integrations, UI, user flows, and user journeys.
• We collaborate closely with global clients, product, BA, and software development teams to deliver successful change.
• We use tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, BCS, and PSPO in our delivery process.

We are hiring for a new permanent role due to continued business growth, expanding our product, BA, and functional team. This is a client-facing technical Business Analyst or Solutions Designer position working with global clients and internal product, business analysis, and software development teams. The role is based in the UK with home working and occasional trips to our London offices, but not on a monthly or weekly basis.
