Technical Business Analyst

Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of software delivery, system integration and technical architecture.
• Experience analysing data using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
• Comfortable working with databases, data modelling and data transformation.
• Experience writing technical requirements, user stories and functional documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI or Machine Learning projects is desirable.
• Experience working alongside Data Engineers, Data Scientists or Analytics teams is desirable.
• Understanding of data pipelines, governance and modern cloud technologies is desirable.
• Industry experience within Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Utilities or Consumer Products is desirable.
• Business Analysis or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Must be SC eligible.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical user stories and functional specifications.
• Work closely with architects, developers and stakeholders to shape solution design.
• Analyse systems, processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support product roadmaps, backlog refinement and Agile delivery.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and requirements.
• Work across system integration, databases and enterprise platforms.
• Contribute to successful project delivery using Agile, Scrum, SAFe or Waterfall methodologies.
• Collaborate on AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives where appropriate.
