Software Engineer (Backend / Full-Stack) - Golang

Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial experience developing applications in Go (Golang)
• Strong REST API development experience
• PostgreSQL database experience
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks, ideally GORM
• Understanding of concurrent programming concepts including goroutines, channels and mutexes
• Experience with Docker and containerised applications
• React development experience
• Knowledge of React Hooks including useState, useCallback and useMemo
• Modern JavaScript development (ES6+, async/await)
• Experience integrating APIs using Axios or similar tools
• Experience with modern CSS frameworks, ideally Tailwind CSS
• Desirable experience with mTLS and X.509 certificate management
• Desirable experience with HashiCorp Vault, Consul or Terraform
• Desirable experience with InfluxDB
• Desirable experience with Server-Sent Events (SSE) and WebSockets
• Desirable networking or embedded systems exposure
• Desirable experience with data visualisation tools such as Recharts or D3
• Desirable experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance
