Senior Software Engineer Trading Platform C++

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with very tight resource and latency constraints
• Background in multi-threaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction
• Comfort working under the hood, with strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills across applications, Linux, and socket I/O
• Experience working with C++ libraries such as STL and Boost
• Up to date on C++23 standards and able to discuss them
• Experience with challenging projects such as building a custom compiler, writing a matching engine, or working with large amounts of real-time data
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Bonus: experience in the trading industry or another ultra-low-latency sensitive business
• Bonus: experience working with Research teams and Quants
• Bonus: experience working within gaming or streaming

Responsibilities:

• Work as a Software Engineer with expertise in C++ in our London office
• Join our Core Infrastructure team
• Design, develop, and maintain our low-latency trading platform, deployed globally
• Work across areas of the technical stack including order routing, market data, and risk systems
