Senior Product Engineer (.NET/C#/Claude Code)

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of professional software development experience
• Comfortable independently delivering production software
• Experience with C# and .NET, or strong experience in another modern backend ecosystem
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with modern web application development
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling
• Experience with APIs and integrations
• Experience testing and debugging production applications
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and application deployment
• Experience reviewing code and making architectural decisions

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and ship financial technology products
• Work across the development lifecycle from understanding the problem through to getting software into production
• Explore existing systems and codebases to understand product problems
• Turn product requirements into implementation plans
• Use AI to accelerate implementation, review output, test it and ship it responsibly
• Write, refactor and review code
• Generate tests and investigate bugs
• Research unfamiliar technologies and produce documentation
• Automate repetitive engineering work
• Take ownership of problems and contribute to better software design and architecture
