Senior Mobile QA Engineer (iOS & Android)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer within a mobile application environment.
• Extensive testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services supporting mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, or chatbots is highly desirable.
• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript is highly desirable.
• Experience testing voice-enabled applications is highly desirable.
• Experience within Ed-Tech, Education, SaaS, or product-led organisations is highly desirable.
• Exposure to AWS cloud environments is highly desirable.
• Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance activities across mobile applications, ensuring exceptional user experience on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tooling.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, performance, usability, and compliance testing.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation capabilities, and CI/CD practices.
• Provide guidance on mobile testing best practices, device compatibility, and platform-specific considerations.

This is an initial 6-month contract offering £350 to £400 per day, outside IR35, with a hybrid working model based in Stratford, London and an immediate start available.
