Senior Functional Consultant - D365 and Power Platform

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require in-depth knowledge of at least two Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform products, such as Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Field Service, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, or Power BI.
• We require an understanding of AI features within Microsoft Dynamics CE and Power Platform, and how to use them to deliver benefits to business users and their customers.
• We require familiarity with related Microsoft technologies such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams, including the ability to configure integrations with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
• We require end-to-end implementation experience across multiple medium to high complexity Dynamics 365 CE or Power Platform projects, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, data migration, cutover, and reporting.
• We require the ability to influence solution design with a configuration-first approach, using customisation only where essential to minimise risk and cost.
• We require the ability to demonstrate out-of-the-box functionality to business and technical stakeholders and explain how the product supports core business processes.
• We require proficiency in designing and building classic and Power Automate workflows to automate medium-complexity tasks.
• We require experience engaging stakeholders at all levels, including eliciting, reviewing, and prioritising requirements through interviews, shadowing, discovery workshops, and business process mapping.
• We require excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to gain support when working with challenging stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• We bridge the gap between IT capability and business expectations on Microsoft Dynamics projects.
• We collaborate with clients to design and build solutions based on Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, including AI features.
• We work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 solutions.
• We play a key role in the design and delivery of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
• We identify opportunities to make best use of platform features and balance the benefits and risks of customisation.
• We recommend the best approach to support client needs.
• We help deliver discovery workshops, create functional designs, configure solutions, support testing, assist with data migration, deliver training, and support implementation.
• We may lead one or more functional consultants on small to moderately sized and complex projects.
• We identify priorities, assign tasks, and make effective use of available resources and skill levels within the team.
• We build relationships with counterparts in other disciplines across the project, including client teams, and help manage dependencies between disciplines.
• We may manage, coach, and develop one or two junior colleagues, supporting performance management and career development.
• We support a culture of wellbeing and inclusion, and help ensure team members manage workload and stress levels effectively.
• We teach others how to convert business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• We share knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, flag issues in a timely manner, and work to agreed standards of behaviour, speed, and quality.
