Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have solid experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and we are willing to learn other platforms where necessary.
• We can build and maintain infrastructure-as-code codebases using tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
• We understand Cloud and DevOps best practices and standards and can embed them into client projects.
• We are comfortable discussing the business and commercial benefits of cloud, as well as deep diving into cloud or on-premise platform configurations where required.
• We are equally comfortable troubleshooting across brownfield platform and application domains and designing greenfield cloud platforms.
• We can horizon scan, evaluate new technology options and vendor products, and understand how they can solve client problems.
• We have experience mentoring and upskilling clients and teammates as part of our day-to-day work.
• We have experience leading technical teams.
• We have previous experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role.
• We have worked in a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

• We build scalable cloud solutions to solve a variety of client problems as a specialist in our team.
• We build and maintain an infrastructure-as-code codebase using relevant tooling.
• We embed Cloud and DevOps best practices into client projects.
• We discuss the business and commercial value of cloud solutions with clients.
• We troubleshoot across brownfield platform and application domains and design greenfield cloud platforms.
• We evaluate new technology options and vendor products to determine how they can be used to solve client problems.
• We share our skills and experience by mentoring and upskilling clients and other teammates.
• We lead technical teams where required.
