Security Assurance Analyst

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a security, compliance, vendor risk, or customer assurance role, or a closely related analytical or customer-facing role, with a genuine interest in cybersecurity
• Experience completing or coordinating customer security questionnaires (such as SIG, CAIQ, or VSAQ) or equivalent structured assessments, or clear evidence of being able to learn this quickly
• Working knowledge of at least one information security or privacy framework, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or GDPR
• Ability to translate how a product works into security requirements and risks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain security concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and make sound risk judgements based on supplier documentation

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of customer security questionnaires and vendor due diligence
• Work directly with our Sales, Product, Procurement, and Legal teams on assurance activities
• Build a central repository of responses and evidence to support and speed up future reviews
• Build evidence and relationships that help customers trust how we handle their data
• Assess vendor risk and provide judgement that informs decisions by Procurement, Legal, and the wider business
• Develop technical expertise in our products and infrastructure, with the opportunity to progress towards technical security work such as integration and API reviews
