SAP Supply Chain Specialist

Salary: £31,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP and business or industry
• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, finance, business administration or a related field, or equivalent SAP certification and work experience
• Proven end-to-end delivery of multiple SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including build, test, deploy and hypercare
• Experience with template rollout
• SAP S/4HANA MM and EWM configuration experience is mandatory
• Good knowledge of technical and process integration across SCM and other functional areas such as P2P
• Track record in successful technical development, solution design, program and product delivery, and service management
• Experience managing a continuous improvement backlog
• Experience with multi-track SAP landscapes and BTP capabilities
• Breadth of knowledge and solution delivery experience across end-to-end supply chain processes and integration points with other processes such as O2C, P2P and RTR
• Experience working with multiple third parties
• Excellent relationship management, strong influence, and communication skills
• Deep knowledge of relevant functional areas, including business operating models, processes and products
• Demonstrated best practice, fit to standard and clean core principles
• Understanding of Agile software development, with experience in Scrum, Kanban and other methodologies
• Experience using tools such as Jira and CALM
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades would be beneficial
• High-quality artefact creation and maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders alongside the Senior Product Manager to develop the product strategy aligned to business objectives
• Act as a trusted advisor and build and maintain relationships with IT colleagues and senior stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure cost-effective IT service delivery
• Complete comprehensive assessments of the existing SAP landscape, evaluating effectiveness, scalability and alignment with business goals
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop a roadmap for application modernisation, including the use of AI agents and automation
• Present the final assessment to Design Authority and Steerco
• Define and govern project scope in the SCM/EWM space and complete deliverables within agreed timelines
• Manage backlog items from requirements gathering through to deployment
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure delivery of high-quality services and solutions
• Evaluate proposals and conduct technical configuration and customisation of solutions that meet customer needs and provide a great user experience aligned with clean core principles
• Work with other teams to ensure a smooth transition and user acceptance of transformed applications
• Bring insight into industry trends and emerging technologies and help assess and recommend suitable tools, frameworks and methodologies
• Ensure all products supporting the business comply with internal security, risk management policies and practices, as well as external regulatory and statutory requirements
• Work with the support organisation to troubleshoot incidents and escalations and provide resolution to break-fix issues
• Resolve complex issues, manage user relationships and delivery, and proactively reduce support work by identifying recurring issues and proposing improvements
