Salary: £36,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance.
  • We require onsite working 5 days a week in either London, Ipswich, or Cheltenham.
  • Software Testing experience.
  • Programming / Scripting experience.
  • Manual / Automated Testing experience.
  • Test Case Design / Writing experience.
  • Functional / Non-Functional Testing experience.
  • Desirable: Test management tooling experience such as JIRA, Confluence, or XRAY.
  • Desirable: Ansible coding experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with automated test tools.
  • Desirable: OSI model awareness.
  • Desirable: Experience working on complex large-scale programmes.
  • Desirable: ISTQB certification.
Responsibilities:
  • We undertake first-level diagnostics, diagnosing defects against components using techniques and tools defined in the test strategy.
  • We identify defects against the correct component in multi-component journeys.
  • We write test specifications and test designs (scripts) and run test scripts to time, cost, and quality.
  • We support full lifecycle integration testing to support project deliverables.
  • We execute automation, functional, regression, and load testing scenarios to validate application functionality.
  • We support the maintenance of test suites and help ensure high-velocity, high-quality production pushes using manual tests.
  • We assess and suggest ways to mitigate risks that affect product and service quality.
  • We support the implementation of ways to improve working processes within our QA engineering responsibility.
  • We champion, continuously develop, and share knowledge on emerging trends and changes in QA engineering best practices and industry standards.
  • We mentor other QA engineers and act as a technical resource to help improve the teams abilities.
