Python Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience developing applications using Python and PHP.
• Experience working with SQL Server and Windows-based environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business users and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfortable translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers would be beneficial.
• Experience with C# would be advantageous.
• Experience with ASP.Net or ASP Classic would be advantageous.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript would be advantageous.
• Experience with VB or SSIS would be advantageous.
• Experience with inventory management, warehouse or replenishment systems would be advantageous.
• Experience with BigCommerce, Odoo, CRM or eCommerce integrations would be advantageous.
• Experience with Windows IIS would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain bespoke applications using Python and PHP.
• Build a SQL Server-based application that integrates inventory, replenishment and warehouse systems.
• Develop data validation and order consolidation processes.
• Create user-friendly interfaces and improve system usability.
• Integrate applications with Excel and other business tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve design challenges.
• Conduct user testing, troubleshooting and ongoing support.
• Contribute to future integration, eCommerce and omnichannel projects.
• Work closely with our Head of IT and Project Managers to develop and maintain business-critical applications in a Windows environment.
• Help design, develop functionality, manage integrations and create an intuitive user experience for store and head office users.
