Product Manager

Salary: £26,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2–3 years experience in product, commercial, growth or a startup environment is desirable.
• We will also consider an outstanding recent graduate who can show how they think and is ready to take on real responsibility.
• Commercial instinct: we want someone who thinks about revenue, growth and what makes a business work, not just features.
• Sharp thinking: able to move quickly from a messy problem to a clear decision.
• Evidence-driven and comfortable with numbers, while still being decisive when the data runs out.
• Comfortable across the full range of product work, including discovery, design, delivery, launch and iteration.
• A designers eye, since you will be doing the design on this product.
• Able to specify clearly what should be built and collaborate effectively with our engineer.
• Prior coding experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Able to make the call when there is not a clear answer.
• Curious about AI and how it genuinely improves everyday experiences.
• Self-starting and accountable, with the ability to work with real autonomy.
• Interested in startups, B2C, apps and marketplaces.
• English fluency is required.
• Work authorisation for the United Kingdom is required.
• Ability to commute to, or relocate to, Edinburgh before starting work is required.

Responsibilities:

• Own the commercial performance of the product, including how it makes money and how that scales.
• Define pricing, packaging and positioning.
• Build the business case for where we invest next, and defend it.
• Track the numbers that matter and act on what they tell us.
• Take the product to market, including launch strategy, messaging, channels and audience.
• Own acquisition, onboarding, activation and retention end to end.
• Test, measure and iterate on what actually drives adoption.
• Own the marketing function, including strategy, messaging and any freelance or agency resource we engage.
• Own the roadmap: what gets built, in what order, and why.
• Shape the flows, screens and interactions for the product.
• Keep improving the product after launch through release, measure, refine and repeat.
• Explore where AI genuinely adds value.
• Stay close to real users, including tenants, agents and landlords, and to the market they operate in.
• Turn insight into decisions, not just decks.
• Understand the competition and where our edge is.
• Understand how the product fits into Let Techs wider products, customers and strategy.
• Look for opportunities across the business rather than viewing the product in isolation.
• Identify and develop partnerships that create value for users and for the business.
• Lead outreach, negotiation and commercial conversations.
• Build the ecosystem around the product.

We are an award-winning team with a mission to make letting better by disrupting how the letting industry works through technology that simplifies the letting process for agents and reduces obstacles for tenants. Our new consumer product is still in development, and this role offers genuine end-to-end ownership with full autonomy to complete the build, lead design, set commercial strategy, launch the product and drive performance thereafter. You will work directly with our leadership team, with the chance to run the product as your own business unit. We offer a salary of £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year and benefits including company events, company pension, cycle to work scheme, on-site gym, private medical insurance and sick pay. The role is based in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh, with in-person work.
