Power Platform Architect

Salary: £38,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need an experienced Technical Architect or Solutions Architect with prior hands-on full-stack development experience.
• We need strong development experience in .NET/C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python.
• We need deep end-to-end architectural knowledge across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages.
• We need solid experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Entra ID, API Management, and Logic Apps.
• We need experience with enterprise integration patterns such as REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• We need proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines and managing Power Platform ALM using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• We need exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively across business leaders, governance boards, and technical delivery teams.
• We require Active SC Clearance.
• It would be desirable to have PL-600 or AZ-305 certifications.
• It would be desirable to have experience delivering within UK Public Sector or Government standards.
• It would be desirable to have familiarity with other enterprise low-code platforms such as Mendix, ServiceNow, or OutSystems.

Responsibilities:

• We define and own end-to-end technical architecture across concurrent projects, including HLDs, LLDs, and data models.
• We present solution designs to Technical Design Authority forums.
• We architect scalable and secure enterprise solutions using the full Power Platform stack.
• We establish environment strategies, security role designs, and Application Lifecycle Management patterns.
• We lead Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Value initiatives to validate complex automation ideas.
• We mentor development teams through code and design reviews.
• We promote engineering best practices, test coverage, and Secure by Design principles.
• We provide hands-on technical leadership to agile delivery teams.
• We drive innovation across central government services.

We are a consultancy client offering a contract Technical Architect role based in London on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of two days per week on-site. This is an initial 6-month engagement inside IR35, with an active SC Clearance requirement. The role sits at the intersection of technical architecture, Power Platform delivery, and full-stack engineering, supporting multiple concurrent automation and low-code projects across central government services.
