• We require MOD sponsored SC clearance, with active SC acceptable.

• We are looking for experience with DevSecOps, continuous integration, automation, and security scanning.
• We require strong scripting skills in Bash, Linux, and Python.
• We need experience with automation and containerisation.
• We are looking for a solution-based mindset and a DevOps culture approach.
• We require experience with Python, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• We require experience securing development in air-gapped environments.
• We require AI/ML model integration experience.
• We require candidates who can support compliance requirements, including ITAR and special access compartment considerations.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the thought direction while also getting hands-on to deliver CI/CD, Kubernetes, and automation solutions.
• We modernise existing platforms and maintain current environments.
• We work across two environments at different stages of maturity.
• We support DevSecOps delivery, including continuous integration, automation, and security scanning.
• We build and maintain secure development solutions in hybrid and air-gapped environments.
• We integrate AI/ML models into the platform where required.
• We contribute to the ongoing maturity of our platforms and DevOps practices.

We are hiring a Platform Engineer for a hybrid role based in Portsmouth, with on-site attendance required two days every other week and the rest remote. The role operates in a hybrid cloud environment and focuses on modernising existing platforms while maintaining current environments. You will work in a DevSecOps setting with compliance, air-gapped, ITAR, and special access compartment considerations. This position requires additional vetting, so onboarding may take longer than usual.
