Lead ServiceNow Solution Architect

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ServiceNow experience as an architect with a track record of leading complex solution designs, delivering out-of-the-box applications, custom application design, and complex integrations
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and best practices
• Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, and ITOM
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideRecord
• Experience with API integrations and other integration technologies
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Solid understanding of general IT and software delivery best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills
• Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent is beneficial
• Implementation Specialist certification or equivalent in two or more products such as ITSM, HRSD, GRC, SecOPS, ITOM, ITAM, or SPM is beneficial
• Certification in non-ServiceNow enterprise platform technologies such as Azure, AWS, or M365 is beneficial
• ServiceNow developer experience is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs and strategic objectives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain detailed architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Perform code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of ServiceNow solutions
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and other integration technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow solutions
• Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow roadmap and strategy
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
• Adhere to IT governance and security policies
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and procedures
