Lead Architect

Salary: £100,000 - 115,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience operating as a Lead Architect within a managed services environment.
• Experience governing large and complex technology estates.
• Strong architecture governance and Design Authority experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
• Proven technical leadership and team leadership experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of managed service delivery models.
• The ability to translate technical strategy into practical business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Own and govern the overall architecture of a complex managed services environment.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple technology towers and architecture disciplines.
• Define technology roadmaps and future-state architecture strategies.
• Lead architecture governance and ensure technical integrity across the estate.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders.
• Work closely with delivery, engineering and service leadership teams.
• Support architectural decision-making within commercial and contractual frameworks.
• Mentor and guide architects and technical teams across the account.

We are recruiting for two senior Lead Architect positions in London within a major managed services environment. These are genuine architecture leadership roles, sitting as part of our account leadership team and responsible for the overall technical direction, governance and architectural integrity of large, complex technology estates. This is an opportunity for an experienced architect who has moved beyond a single technology domain and can operate as a trusted advisor to customers, influence senior stakeholders and provide leadership across a broad technology landscape. We offer a salary of £115,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
