Junior UX Designer

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a strong portfolio demonstrating our UX process, problem-solving skills, and user-centered design thinking.
• We are looking for 1+ years of commercial experience or a strong degree/bootcamp background in UX Design, HCI, or a related field.
• We need proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, with Figma highly preferred.
• We require a solid understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and accessibility guidelines.
• We need excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
• We value a proactive attitude, a hunger to learn, and the ability to take constructive feedback on board.

Responsibilities:

• We assist in conducting user research, including competitor analysis, user interviews, and surveys.
• We create user personas, user journeys, and process flows to map out product features.
• We design wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch.
• We support the planning and execution of usability testing sessions, gathering and analyzing feedback.
• We collaborate with UI designers and developers to ensure UX principles are maintained through to the final build.
• We keep up to date with the latest UX trends, accessibility standards, and design best practices.
