Junior Application Support Analyst

Salary: £25,000 - 28,500 per year

Requirements:

• You should either be a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science / IT / Information Technology or a similar subject, or have some commercial experience working as a Junior Application Support Analyst or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• An interest in IT systems and application support.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using GitHub or supporting SaaS applications would be an advantage.
• Exposure to software testing and/or experience working in a Financial Services organisation/environment would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in logging, investigating and resolving application incidents to agreed service levels.
• Monitoring application performance and system alerts, escalating issues as and when required.
• Providing support to users and helping to troubleshoot any application issues.
• Maintaining and updating knowledge base articles, support guides and user documentation.
• Supporting application releases and carrying out post-deployment checks.
