IT Support Engineer

Salary: £27,000 - 29,000 per year

Requirements:

• We want someone from a similar IT technical environment.
• We want experience handling 1st or 2nd line technical enquiries.
• We want working knowledge of O365.
• We want experience with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• We want exposure to firewall security.
• We want proven problem-solving ability.
• We want the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
• We want experience or exposure to core networking systems such as routers, switches, WiFi, backups, and VOIP systems.
• We want knowledge of CISCO.
• We want DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• We want access to a car.
• We want someone who can work onsite 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• We will bring inhouse and support a fully functional IT specialist team across our core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton.
• We will handle commercial troubleshooting and 1st or 2nd line support enquiries.
• We will support our technical estate, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and internal telephone systems.
• We will work closely with our IT manager based at the Burton office.
• We will support our core networking systems, including routers, switches, WiFi, backups, and VOIP.
• We will manage service desk tickets in JIRA and respond to requests within agreed SLAs.
