IT Support Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT support environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Exposure to Windows 11
• Exposure to Windows Server
• Exposure to Hyper-V
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Hardware support and troubleshooting experience
• Understanding of general IT infrastructure
• Exposure to endpoint security solutions
• Experience with SonicWall firewalls, CCTV or access control systems is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st line IT support to users across the business, with opportunities to assist on 2nd line support issues
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and user account issues
• Support Windows 11 desktops and laptops
• Assist with Windows Server and Hyper-V administration
• Support networking infrastructure and Wi-Fi connectivity
• Help maintain SonicWall firewalls and endpoint security solutions
• Support Android tablets, CCTV, access control and time and attendance systems
• Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance and continuous improvement projects
• Deliver excellent face-to-face and remote customer support

This 1st Line IT Support Technician role offers a salary of £25,000 - £28,000, Monday to Friday hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, 30 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, a healthcare benefit, on-site parking, and strong long-term career progression.
