IT Infrastructure Manager

Requirements:

• We need an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with previous experience managing IT infrastructure within large enterprise environments.
• We need someone who can achieve NPPV3 and/or SC clearance; current clearance is not required to apply.
• We need a technically strong manager who is comfortable remaining hands-on.
• We need experience with Azure, VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, IT security, and networking.
• We need experience delivering technical projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• We need previous experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager within a large organisation.
• We need someone able to work onsite 4 days a week in Basingstoke.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure, including End User Computing (EUC).
• We will expect you to ensure our IT Service Desk delivers an efficient service to internal and external users.
• We will ask you to take ownership of Disaster Recovery, including developing and maintaining DR policies and procedures.
• We will expect you to lead infrastructure upgrades.
• We will rely on you to oversee IT security initiatives.
• We will expect you to stay hands-on while also leading projects and driving operational improvements.

We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join us on an initial 9-month contract outside IR35, based in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on onsite role with four days per week in the office. The position focuses on enterprise infrastructure management, end user computing, service desk performance, disaster recovery, infrastructure upgrades, and IT security initiatives.
