EUD Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience in ICT operational delivery, ideally in a similar environment
• Proven ability to support Windows 10, smartphones, laptops, and desktops
• Experience resolving incidents, requests, and problems effectively
• Strong customer service approach and commitment to delivering an excellent user experience
• Experience creating procedure and knowledge base documentation
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
• Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across multiple locations
• Must be able to pass Police Vetting Checks and have been continuously within the UK for a minimum of 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and effective support to end users, minimizing service disruptions
• Troubleshoot and resolve EUD incidents, requests, and problems within agreed service levels
• Identify trends and proactively raise issues
• Keep the EUD Senior Engineer informed about changes needed to documentation and knowledge articles
• Help manage schedules for moves, projects, and technology provisions
• Ensure services meet KPIs, user experience agreements, and SLAs
• Follow processes and procedures with a strong focus on asset management
• Identify service enhancements and report them to the EUD Senior Engineers

We are recruiting a full-time temporary End User Device (EUD) Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Southampton, offering a daily rate of £250.00 via umbrella. This is a role supporting Thames Valley Police, where you will help deliver exceptional end-user device support across public services.
