Embedded Software Engineer - Teversham

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in embedded Linux development, including Yocto and custom image builds
• Solid understanding of device trees, kernel-space and user-space development
• Genuine interest in working within a consultancy environment with varied challenges
• Desirable: real-time development in C/C++
• Desirable: broader embedded expertise such as RTOS, bare-metal, hardware interfacing, DSP, protocols, or state machines

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects from concept through to delivery across multiple sectors
• Develop software for embedded Linux systems, including Arm-based SoCs
• Build and maintain custom Linux images using Yocto
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues
