Job Description

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a masters degree in Data Science, Maths, Science, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • We require working knowledge of cloud-based and local data science frameworks and toolkits.
  • We require exposure to Agile methodologies and a hypothesis-driven approach.
  • We require practical understanding of machine learning and deep learning.
  • We require strong experience with time series forecasting, including ARIMA, ETS, Prophet, time-series pattern detection and machine learning methods.
  • We require strong experience with causal inference, intervention analysis and scenario simulation.
  • We require experience developing probabilistic models.
  • We require a proficient understanding of probability and statistics, especially Bayesian methods.
  • We require practical experience developing and implementing machine learning on large datasets.
  • We require knowledge of mining large and complex datasets using SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL or Spark.
  • We require understanding of statistical modelling techniques and the mathematical foundations of applied ML and AI algorithms and models.
  • We require the ability to conceptualize, formulate, prototype and implement algorithms to capture customer behaviour and solve business problems.
  • We require the ability to communicate complex data science concepts effectively.

  • We will support GSK Consumer Healthcare in becoming a more data-driven and innovative organisation.
  • We will conceptualize, formulate, prototype and implement algorithms to capture customer behaviour and solve business problems.
  • We will communicate complex data science concepts to stakeholders.
  • We will develop and implement machine learning solutions on large datasets.
  • We will mine large and complex datasets using SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL or Spark.
  • We will explore cutting-edge machine learning techniques to discover patterns and predictions that help solve customer needs.
  • We will contribute to complex and diverse projects using data science techniques to deliver measurable commercial benefit.
  • We will help drive GSKs transformation journey and support the success of our consumer healthcare business.
