Data Resilience Technical Consultant

Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow GRC
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB modelling
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery
• Strong hands-on experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation
• Experience with data models, asset relationships and complex data flows
• Knowledge of data resilience principles, including integrity, availability, recovery and encryption
• Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis
• Experience producing user stories, process workflows and solution documentation
• Experience with data quality, governance and control frameworks
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365 for analysis, MI and reporting
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
• Experience in operational resilience, risk or regulated financial services environments
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into clear business insight
• Ability to identify resilience risks across complex data and technology landscapes
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as PRA SS1/21, FCA PS21/3 or DORA is highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing development of the Data Resilience solution within ServiceNow
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into technical tooling requirements
• Maintain resilience-focused datasets, asset relationships and dependencies
• Map end-to-end data flows supporting Important Business Services
• Identify vulnerabilities across critical data services and processes
• Coordinate BAU Data Resilience processes, attestations and control activity
• Support the development of resilience dashboards and reporting
• Produce user stories, workflows, data models and control documentation
• Work with Power BI teams to improve visibility of our Data Resilience position
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions with technical and business stakeholders
• Contribute to Agile delivery across the full solution lifecycle
• Support audit and regulatory scrutiny through accurate, complete and well-maintained evidence

We are a major UK financial services organisation building out a new Data Resilience capability within our Chief Data and Analytics function. This is a high-impact contract role offering £750 per day, based in Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh or Bristol with hybrid working of 2 days onsite per week. The role focuses on strengthening the resilience of critical data services, supporting regulatory compliance, and embedding new strategies, operating models and control frameworks across a complex enterprise environment.
