Data Architect

Salary: £22,023.5 - 24,637.5 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building a single customer view at scale within large, complex organizations
• Strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data flows
• Hands-on understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and complex CRM data ecosystems
• Solid experience with GCP including data ingestion, transformation, and standardization
• Ability to work across large organizations, ideally in retail or logistics
• Excellent stakeholder influence and decision-making skills
• Comfortable creating and owning the delivery roadmap, aligning multiple teams and suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation of all customer data into a single customer view used across the enterprise
• Define and drive the roadmap for delivering a governed customer data model and data flows
• Ensure all data is clean, structured, and ready for ingestion into GCP pipelines and Salesforce Data Cloud
• Establish data quality, governance, identity resolution, and metadata standards
• Collaborate with Salesforce, GCP data engineering teams, and integration partners to align on data requirements
• Bring clarity, structure, and direction to a complex, multi-supplier organization
• Operate in an Agile, product-friendly delivery environment, shaping requirements and sequencing delivery
• Act as the authoritative voice on customer data architecture and end-to-end data readiness

We are a forward-thinking organization looking for a hands-on, data-savvy leader to join our team as a Data Architect on a 3-6 month contract, working hybrid with 3 days onsite in London. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical program focused on consolidating enterprise customer data into a single, trusted view and preparing it for ingestion into GCP and Salesforce Data Cloud. Following significant investment in our CRM and data transformation strategy, you will be instrumental in defining the roadmap for a robust, governed customer data model.
