D365 F&O Functional Consultant

Requirements:

• 5–6 years experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.
• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with Direct Debit processes.
• Strong experience across Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
• Full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation experience.
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Experience writing Epics, Features and User Stories within Agile environments.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem including Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience working independently as an individual contributor.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within the Energy industry is desirable.
• Experience working with multiple vendors on large transformation programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with business owners and development teams to refine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
• Advise business stakeholders on how to transform business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Oversee the implementation of the F&O project.
• Design, manage and implement multiple functional aspects of the solution.
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Perform functional testing, end-to-end process testing and integration testing using Postman.
• Support Agile delivery through workshops, backlog refinement and sprint planning.

We are recruiting for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join a major enterprise transformation programme for a leading organisation in the UK. The role is based in Windsor, UK on a hybrid basis, with 1 day per week onsite initially. This is a 6-month contract with a day rate of £465 per day inside IR35.
