Business Technology Lead

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience leading business transformation or digital change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience improving processes, systems and ways of working across multiple business functions.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to build business cases and demonstrate ROI.
• Experience working with third-party technology providers and delivery partners.
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, data, reporting, automation or business technology platforms.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a focus on delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.
• Work with senior leaders to identify where technology can remove friction, improve efficiency and support future growth.
• Drive initiatives through to delivery.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and assess their practical business application.
• Develop business cases, measure benefits and prioritise investment opportunities.
• Support the leadership team with technology and transformation planning.
• Help define the future technology operating model and long-term strategy.

We are an established and highly successful Northern Ireland business seeking a Business Technology Lead to drive digital transformation across multiple business functions and help shape the next phase of our growth. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, including the Managing Director, Finance Director and Technology Director, to identify opportunities for improvement, modernise processes and maximise the value of technology across our organisation. Initially, the focus will be on delivering tangible business improvements across 5-6 key functions. Over time, the role is expected to evolve into a broader technology leadership position, providing significant scope to influence strategy, build capability and shape the future direction of technology within our business. We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits, with direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic decision-making and a clear progression path towards a broader technology leadership position. The role spans people, process, technology and business strategy, with significant visibility and influence.
