Architect for Data Center Projects

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a closely related field
• Registered Architect (ARB)
• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical and industry experience
• Recent experience working on diverse and complex infrastructure projects, including data centre, mission critical, and science/technology
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent collaboration skills, strong self-organisation, and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
• Masters degree in Architecture preferred
• Experience in and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED preferred
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp preferred
• Rhino and Grasshopper experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Work on diverse and complex infrastructure projects, including data centre, mission critical, and science/technology projects
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications
• Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables
• Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions
• Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility
• Recommend and select procedures
• Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters
• Work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors in the UK and Europe
• Perform other duties as needed
