GRC Lead

Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance (GRC)
• Experience with risk management and control frameworks
• Experience with audit, assurance and compliance activities
• Experience engaging with stakeholders and suppliers
• Experience in governance reporting and risk communication
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Lead cyber governance, risk and compliance activities across our organisation.
• Drive risk identification, assessment and remediation activities.
• Oversee compliance with our internal policies, regulatory requirements and security frameworks.
• Coordinate and challenge suppliers to ensure security obligations are met.
• Support internal and external audits, control reviews and assurance activities.
• Maintain and enhance our governance processes, risk registers and reporting frameworks.
• Produce clear and meaningful reports for senior stakeholders.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Were seeking a GRC Lead to join our growing cyber security function and take ownership of governance, risk and compliance across a complex stakeholder and supplier landscape. Youll be a key point of contact between business stakeholders, suppliers and security teams, helping us manage and report on risks, controls and compliance obligations. This Preston-based role is hybrid and offers a salary of £70,000–£75,000 plus permanent benefits.
