IT Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Defender and associated security tooling
• Confident with Cisco and Meraki networking
• Solid VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory experience
• Intune and Entra experience would be a bonus
• Comfortable managing a major infrastructure project, including a Server 2016 to Server 2022 upgrade across approximately 30 servers
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and internal customers

Responsibilities:

• Work across a predominantly on-premise environment with a growing Azure footprint
• Protect and support the environment with a security-focused approach
• Keep infrastructure running effectively day to day
• Support and contribute to a major Server 2016 to Server 2022 upgrade across approximately 30 servers
• Work closely with stakeholders and internal customers
• Take ownership of infrastructure tasks within a small, close-knit team

We are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our close-knit team in Newbury, Berkshire. The role is onsite with some hybrid working and offers a salary of up to £45,000 plus bonus. This is a hands-on position where security and infrastructure meet, with occasional out-of-hours work paid as overtime.
