Technical Lead - Tyndalls Park

Salary: £104,000 - 117,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical delivery experience within UK Higher Education
• Experience with Student Record Systems such as SITS/eVision, Banner, or similar
• Experience with major SIS implementations, upgrades, or replacements
• Good understanding of the end-to-end student lifecycle
• Strong integration/API and data migration experience
• Strong SQL/database knowledge
• Experience leading technical teams and working with senior stakeholders
• Azure/AWS experience is beneficial

• Lead the technical delivery of a Student Information System transformation
• Own the architecture, integrations, and data migration
• Lead developers, analysts, and testers across the programme
• Turn business requirements into clear technical solutions
• Work with and challenge third-party suppliers
• Act as the technical lead for senior university stakeholders

We are hiring a Technical Lead on a contract basis to support a major Student Information System transformation within Higher Education. This is a senior, hands-on role with ownership of the technical direction across the programme, working across student systems, architecture, integrations, and data migration. We will partner with internal teams, university stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure the solution is robust, scalable, and successfully delivered. The role is UK hybrid with occasional client site visits, and the start date is ASAP.
