Frontend Developer

Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience building enterprise websites or web applications
• A proven track record of taking client-facing projects from the ground up
• Strong experience with the modern React ecosystem, including established design patterns and best practices
• A solid understanding of web fundamentals
• The ability to work confidently in vanilla JavaScript, without relying on third-party libraries
• A good foundation in TypeScript and functional programming concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical, inquisitive approach
• AWS Cloud platforms experience

Responsibilities:

• Contribute code from day one and work closely with teams across the business to deliver projects to an exceptionally high standard
• Work across a wide variety of client-facing projects and our own growing suite of products
• Turn ideas into digital experiences and solve complex technical problems
• Help shape our front-end roadmap and improve processes
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical insight across the wider business

We are an exciting software business operating within the Investment Management space, and we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with a small team to solve problems and come up with technical-led ideas. We offer significant scope to take on additional responsibility, with variety across client-facing projects and our own products. The role is based onsite/hybrid in central London, with a salary of up to £100,000 depending on experience.
