Back End Developer

Salary: £33,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years of backend development experience, with strong Java experience (Spring Boot/Spring Framework)
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM, OAuth, SSO)
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps practices (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases and server-side technologies
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Agile delivery experience
• GCP or cloud platform experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design and build high-scale backend Java services
• Own the security and resilience of the platform
• Act as technical lead and raise engineering standards across the team
• Work in an Agile environment with modern DevOps practices
• Help upskill and mentor the wider engineering team
