Principal Cybersecurity Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Senior, Director-grade individual contributor with deep cyber expertise
• Elite hands-on software engineering ability
• Willing to spend around 40-50% of our time coding
• Experience in complex security challenges across threat detection, anomaly identification, cyber automation, and advanced analytics
• Background may include a security product vendor, cyber start-up, red team/offensive security, or a large-scale engineering environment where cybersecurity, data, and software intersect
• Senior thought leader who can influence engineering direction, lead technical workshops, and raise standards across teams

Responsibilities:

• Build the next generation of data-driven security capabilities at exceptional scale
• Turn vast volumes of security telemetry into practical protection
• Work on threat detection, anomaly identification, cyber automation, and advanced analytics
• Influence engineering direction and help solve cutting-edge problems without obvious off-the-shelf answers
• Lead technical workshops and raise standards across teams
• Build, challenge, influence, and operate at serious scale as an IC technical leader
