Salesforce CRM/nCino Core Banking Platform Lead

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require at least 5 to 7 years experience at expert level working with a core banking system, ideally with Salesforce or nCino core banking platform experience.
• We require strong CRM skills, including hands-on experience with Salesforce and an understanding of nCino or similar core banking platforms.
• We require advanced analytical skills to interpret business requirements, analyse data, and design effective process and system solutions.
• We require excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders, documenting requirements, presenting solutions, and supporting change management.
• We require proven project management experience in planning, prioritising, and delivering platform enhancements and integrations in a structured, timely way.
• Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in lending or core banking operations, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methods, system integration concepts, and testing best practices is desirable.
• A bachelors degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
• Salesforce and/or nCino certifications are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of Salesforce CRM and the nCino core banking platform to support business and client requirements.
• We translate stakeholder needs into scalable solutions.
• We manage the product backlog and coordinate with technical teams to deliver enhancements, integrations, and releases.
• We gather and analyse requirements, oversee implementation and testing, ensure data quality and compliance, and resolve platform-related issues.
• We provide guidance and training to users.
• We collaborate with sales and relationship teams to improve customer journeys and drive continuous improvement across CRM and banking processes.
• We lead the software development team to produce technical solution designs.
• We collaborate with offshore developers to manage distributed delivery, ensuring clarity in requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
• We act as the onshore escalation point for delivery issues and blockers.
• We break down high-level designs into actionable development tasks.
• We ensure onshore development follows best practices and coding standards.
• We conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers.
• We work closely with stakeholders as the primary onshore interface for business analysts, product owners, and QA teams.
• We participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and demos.
• We ensure business expectations are clearly communicated to offshore teams.
• We manage and coordinate development environments.
• We support deployment planning and execution in collaboration with the offshore team and release managers.
• We encourage the use of Agile/Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
• We ensure thorough unit testing and documentation of deliverables.
• We support integration testing and UAT cycles, coordinating with offshore QA resources.

We are a bank based in the City of London, recruiting for a full-time Salesforce CRM/nCino Core Banking Platform Lead. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home part of the week, and it requires three days per week in our City of London office. The role reports to the Head of Software Engineering for Core Banking Systems and involves managing a team of 15 software developers across onshore and offshore locations to support smooth delivery of projects across global regions. The salary is in the range of 80K to 90K.
