Salary: £57,000 - 97,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We may require you to be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on site with our government clients from time to time.
  • You have deep expertise across the application lifecycle and set high standards for system integration and end-user software quality.
  • You can design large-scale, complex software ecosystems and justify critical architectural trade-offs in high-stakes environments.
  • You define production readiness standards and establish application deployment protocols across diverse client engagements.
  • You can translate high-level commercial strategy into technical roadmaps and ensure AI workstreams are accurately estimated and integrated.
  • You can architecturally direct products leveraging autonomous AI agents so they are robust and effectively integrated.
  • You are a confident communicator who can convey complex technical roadmaps and architectural risks to commercial partners and executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Set the technical direction for complex software projects so architectural decisions support long-term product and client goals.
  • Drive the development of shared software libraries and microservices that accelerate delivery across multiple client engagements.
  • Oversee the delivery of large-scale AI-powered platforms while defining project roadmaps in high-risk environments.
  • Facilitate alignment between ML, Data Science, and DevOps crafts so agentic software is built on a reliable foundation.
  • Manage and coach a distributed team of engineers, setting development goals aligned with organisational growth.
  • Establish enterprise-wide standards for code delivery, testing, and system documentation across the software engineering craft.
  • Lead hiring processes for the software engineering craft to continue building a world-class technical team.
