Senior Software Developer (Microservices - GoLang)

Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years of experience in GoLang.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture, principles, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of developing microservices using Agile methodology.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs (OpenAPI 3.0).
• Proficiency in writing unit, integration, functional, and system tests using GoLang testing frameworks.
• Experience using Atlassian tools for project management and collaboration.
• Solid understanding of Git and JIRA.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge and configuration knowledge of MongoDB.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Working experience in creating design documents, including LLD, HLD, UML, and API specifications.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience using AI is an added advantage.

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices using GoLang within a cloud-native environment.
• Work closely with other developers and cloud operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.
