Senior .NET Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core
• Experience building and deploying applications within Azure, AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs and SQL Server
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or TypeScript
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot or Cursor
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines or Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of distributed systems or message-driven architectures
• Experience working within regulated or highly auditable environments
• Exposure to Agile software delivery environments
• Experience mentoring or supporting other developers
• Kotlin, Android or mobile development experience would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Design and build cloud-native applications and backend services using the latest Microsoft technologies
• Contribute across the wider technology stack, working closely with frontend, cloud and platform technologies where required
• Work within a highly collaborative development team on modern applications in a regulated and mission-critical environment

The position is based in Chester with hybrid working and 2 days onsite per week, and is commutable from Liverpool, Wirral, Runcorn, Warrington, Crewe and North Wales. We offer a salary up to 65,000 plus 20% bonus and great benefits.
