Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong software engineering experience in C++, desktop applications, audio software, embedded-adjacent systems, plug-ins, cloud-connected products, or comparable technical domains.
  • Ability to reason about product quality, maintainability, performance, and user experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
  • Strong debugging, testing, and technical communication skills.
  • Interest in music technology, creator tools, hardware/software integration, or audio workflows.
  • Ability to balance immediate delivery with long-term technical health.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software for music creation products and platforms.
  • Work with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused features.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, technical planning, and estimation.
  • Improve code quality, maintainability, performance, and development practices.
  • Support integration between technologies and broader inMusic hardware/software ecosystems.
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and contribute to long-term platform stability.
  • Mentor other engineers and help raise engineering standards.

This role contributes to the design and implementation of software for music creation while helping identify opportunities to reuse, integrate, and scale technology across inMusic brands. We are open to senior-level candidates for this role. We work on products and platforms used by creators, producers, performers, DJs, and musicians around the world. You will help shape the future of music creation technology across a global portfolio of brands. We offer a practical, creative environment that values clear thinking, customer impact, and measurable outcomes. This is a full-time onsite engineering role.
