Junior Web Developer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience with React.js
• Demonstrable experience with Next.js
• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and modern browser APIs
• Demonstrable experience with HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Demonstrable experience with TypeScript
• Demonstrable experience with Tailwind CSS or similar modern CSS frameworks
• Demonstrable experience with Node.js for front-end tooling, build processes, and integrations
• Demonstrable experience with Strapi or similar headless CMS platforms
• Demonstrable experience with Git for source control and collaborative development
• Understanding of C# and .NET, and backend concepts to support collaboration with backend teams
• Awareness of SQL and relational databases, including how front-end applications interact with data
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, component-based design, and state management
• Solid grasp of programming fundamentals, including functional programming principles and common design patterns
• Experience working with API-driven applications and consuming REST/JSON endpoints
• Awareness of performance optimisation, accessibility standards, and modern front-end best practices
• Working knowledge of DevOps concepts, including build pipelines, deployments, and environments

Responsibilities:

• Work on the maintenance and ongoing development of web applications and websites, ensuring reliability, performance, and usability
• Collaborate on new websites, internal tools, and front-end applications from the ground up
• Translate designs and requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces
• Work closely with senior developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
